ML, love the picture...one reason is because I am the one taking it(your oldest sister BJ)! Could not trust any of you so Mother always made me the photographer. We did do, see, live all that you mentioned. Sometimes my heart aches to go back for we again would have the parents we loved so and our beloved and wonderful Peggy. I took her on her first bus ride, bought her the first high heels she wore, also got her her first 5 school dresses (I had started working at age 18 and she was 6 starting first grade). Daddy always wanted to "concrete" the front yard and paint it green....as you can see in picture, we neve had grass! And, Daddy was not in picture because he was always working!!!! Mother was wonderful to raise 5 who love each other so much. Love to you today/always. Betty Jean
