WE DON'T HAVE YESTERDAY OR TOMORROW BUT WE HAVE TODAY!

When Peggy took the phone this morning, there was sadness in her voice! I wanted to reach through the phone lines and give her a hug. I told her that everything would be O. K.  I shut my eyes, when I said that because I knew that I was lying.

I asked her who was there today. She said, Mother and Daddy.                   (Mother & Daddy are dead)

After my call, I felt sad. Then I thought, I should not be sad because Peggy was privileged to see and talk with Mother and Daddy today!

I really believe that they were with her this morning. I would love to see and talk with them.....    Just one more time!

I am glad that they were with Peggy and I know that they will stay close to her as she disappears.

I asked Peggy to give them a big kiss for me and she said that she would.             I'm wearing pink lipstick and I think it would look good on Daddy's bald head and on Mother's forehead this morning!

We don't have yesterday or tomorrow...but We Have Today!

I Love You Today, Peggy!   Mary Louise

ML, How blessed Peggy is to have been with Moher and Daddy (as we all will be one day). Oh how I wish "I Could Dance With My Father Again" andtell Mother she was certainly the "Wind Beneath Our Wings". I plan to go see Peggy next month and I pray for a goodvisit with her. I am ok as long as I see her cheerful side, but I already know my reacton after the visit...sad and hurting. But,at least I have the priviledge of seeing her. THANKS BE TO GOD. Your oldest sister, Betty Jean

I just recently found your journal a couple of days ago. It breaks my heart to see what you have to go through. But to see your bravery in such hard circumstances, it uplifts me as well. I check your blog every day. Thank you.

ML. I haven't left a comment in a while, but I wanted you to know I stop by frequently. You are all in my thoughts and prayers daily. May God Bless and keep you all close. You are an inspiration to others dealing with this dreadfull disease.
My Aunt is disappearing also, and I have directed my cousin to your journal. Thank you.

I've often felt that entering the reality of our loved ones is one of the kindes things we can do for them. When they can't grasp the world as we see it, accepting the world through their eyes must be a comfort. God bless you.
