SEARCHING FOR SIGNAL

We have satellite television.

Sometimes, the screen goes blank even when there are no storms in the area.

It  will just go off and in the left hand bottom of the screen,  a message appears.

The message says...Searching for satellite signal.

It usually doesn't stay off long unless we are in the mist of a storm.

Last night, I was watching a program, the screen went blank and the message appeared.

I thought about Peggy and how much that message could refer to her.

I have lost the signal to connect to Peggy.

Every once in a while we will connect for a brief moment and then the message appears again.

Searching for signal

And again, our connection is lost.

I Love You Today, Peggy!

Janet, our Librarian had to make a decision about her 39 year old daughter today.  Lisa has lupas.  She has not been well for some time now.  Lisa is a nurse.  Janet,  has had to make a decision to pull the life support from her daughter who's organs are shutting down.  After just having lost my 15 year old friend, and experiencing that she is at peace with God and still with me in my heart and all around me, I know that Janet will have some peace about having to make that type of decision in her childs life.  Because in the unconscious state that Lisa is in, their hearts are heavy layden with no peace.  I wish for you Peace, I wish for Peggy peace.  And I wish Peggy's presence with you in a very special way.

Love,
Wendy

Your painful and articulate entries always remind me to be thankful for what I have in my life. I keep Peggy and you and the whole family in my thoughts. Margo
